Fire Pits 101: The Basic Guide on how to use a Fire Pit!

Are you excited to have your own fire table or bowl yet you are not exactly sure of how they work or how to use them? We wanted to put together a guide on how to use our fire pit and some of the great benefits that these provide to your home or outdoor space!

Our fire tables are designed for ease of use and have simple controls to be able to turn your fire table on and off, ignite the flame & safety shut offs to make sure that it is safe at all times. These fire pits and tables provide a great ambience for people to gather around & are the perfect mood setter!

Essentially there are two types of fire pits that we offer. They come in Natural Gas or Propane fuels. There are also wood fire bowls on the market however we do not sell these. Natural Gas basically means that the fire bowl will be hooked up to your gas line from your home, Propane on the other hand, refers to a Propane Gas tank that you would regularly buy from a service station.

How to Set Up our Fire Tables?

1. Make sure the gas supply system is turned to “OFF”.
Install the AAA battery as shown in the diagram below.
2. Connecting the LP Gas Tank
Check to make sure there is no debris in the head of the LP gas tank or in the head of the regulator valve. Make sure you check the burner and burner ports as well. Connect gas line to tank by turning knob clockwise. Hand tighten only.
3.  Place lava rock by hand. DO NOT dump bag out into tray to avoid clogging the burner with dust. Position the lava rock ( 13.2 lbs / 6 kgs) to a level about 1” above the top of the burner. Make sure that you do not block the igniter box with lava rock to ensure proper ignition
4.  Prior to each gas fireplace operation, check the hose and valve for evidence
